Introduction to Babywearing
Not sure where to start with babywearing? Our trained consultant will guide you through the techniques and safety of using slings. We can work with any additional needs you or your child may have and we aim to leave you feeling confident and cared for.
Own sling consultation
Already have a sling? This 1 hour consultation will offer you the skills to safely use a sling of your own. This can include exploring the other ways to use the sling, such as a back carry, feeding carries, and other positions where suitable.
Troubleshooting
Whether you have seen us before, or self taught at home, you can visit us to troubleshoot your sling. Perhaps your child is older now and something doesn’t feel right anymore, or you just aren’t sure how to adjust your sling. We can help.

Not sure if an axkid will fit in your car? Try before you buy. Our staff, trained by Axkid themselves, can assist you with the safest choice from newborn to teenager.
Cloth Nappy demonstration
Google giving you a hard time? Facebook groups all say something different? We teach you how cloth works, so that you come to understand how to make the nappies of your choice work. We demonstrate how to fit cloth nappies, the differences between brands, and everything else you might like to know.
Nationwide support
Not local to Derby? That’s ok, we’re here to help. We can offer you support online, by video or any other preferred method of communication. We even postal hire from our sling & cloth nappy library.
Pre and Post natal support for parents
We have a variety of support available for parents, from peer to peer drop in sessions, to external infant feeding and mental health organisations offering regular sessions, we are here to help support you.
